USF College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences is the intellectual heart of the University of South Florida. We are a community of teachers and scholars united in the belief that broadly educated people are the basis of a just, free, and prosperous society. By focusing on the big questions facing all of humanity, we prepare students for successful, socially responsible personal and professional lives.

The University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college within the university. Here, I worked as a Digital Media Assistant for the college in the events and marketing departments. Responsible for writing copy, promoting events on social media, and migrating and building the college's new website, I was able to contribute in a wide variety of ways to the success of events hosted by the college.

Here I familiarized myself with tools like Mailchimp and content management systems including Wordpress and OU Campus.

I also assisted in the development of The Hub, a central news source for relevant content and news articles within the college.
