Making Dreams Come True: Voices For Children Foundation's Annual “Be A Voice Gala”

The 26th Annual “Be A Voice Gala” hosted by Voices For Children Foundation (VFC) was a resounding success! Serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at VFC, this gala was an honor to help execute and attend.

This year’s gala took place at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami, generously supported by honorary chair sponsor, Shipley Foundation, Inc. We were honored to welcome over 400 guests, including Miami-Dade County elected officials, community leaders, philanthropists, and compassionate citizens, all joining forces to support children in foster care.

Led by dedicated VFC President and CEO Kadie Black, the 2024 "Be A Voice Gala" raised an astounding $1.1 million thanks to the unwavering support of the Miami-Dade community.

Aligned with the gala's theme, “Making Dreams Come True,” VFC and its supporters are committed to fulfilling the dreams of children in the dependency system and their caregivers. Through vital funding and support, VFC provides these children with the stability and resources they need during challenging times.
